My Prayers
Definition of Prayer:
noun: a solemn request for help or expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship
religious service, especially a regular one, at which people gather in order to pray together
My Version
I substitute an appropriate word thereby sometimes producing an 'Ah ha' momemnt. For example, substituting 'wholly' for 'holy' and 'nature' for 'name', I think that provides for an even deeper meaning to the ways of God. (Randy)
Think about the true meaning of each line of a prayer. It’s important to remind ourselves to stop and reflect on the words we are saying. We have taken a closer look at the lord's prayer line by line below to help people better understand its true purpose.
My Version of the 'Glory Be' Prayer:
Glory be to God (with only one "o" because mankind ("o") particpates to make it "Good")
whose spirit is sacrifical love and wholly that brings together the differences like of a father and a son,
that creates a new synthesis of mankind (like Jesus).
The sacrifical love that was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, universe without end.
My Version of the 'Hail Mary' Prayer:
Same, except I add 'pray for the world, my mother's family, my family, and my partner.'
My Version of 'The Lord is my Shepherd' Prayer:
The Lord Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah, the son of God, is my shepherd,
in whom I shall not want any other,
for He shows me the way, the truth/light, and the [whole = current and external] life.
Thru his teachings and life example,
he shows me the way of sacrifical love,
and the truth and light of God's sacrifical love,
and the life of richness and abundance by abiding in sacrifical love.
Yeah though in this life we walk in the valley and shadow of death, destruction, suffering, choas, uncertainity,
I shall fear no evil for thou art with me.
Thy rod and thy staff comfort me with protection and guidance,
and I pray that thy rod and thy staff comfort the world, my mother's family, my family, and partner with protection and guidance too.
May we be with you until the end of time.
